6月11日讯 据韩国媒体MK体育报道，韩国队需要在今晚的36强赛击败中国队，从而确保18强赛的种子席位。

18强赛的种子队席位，将由各队的FIFA排名来决定。18强赛将分为3个小组，其中亚洲排名前两位的日本、伊朗锁定了两个种子队席位，韩国（世界第23位）和澳大利亚（世界第24位）则将争夺另一组的头号种子席位。
