对此，前裁判兼SER评论员伊图拉尔德认为这个判罚过于严厉：“这是一场非常具有解释性的比赛，正如我所说，在这种类型的比赛中没有绝对的真理。也就是说，对我来说这不是点球，是葡萄牙球员侵入了后卫的空间，他们想要越过后卫已经静止的地方。”
