7月9日讯 德国在欧洲杯八强战1-2被西班牙加时赛绝杀，克罗斯也就此退役。

德国名宿安德列亚斯-穆勒在个人专栏表示：“克罗斯在今年2月宣布重返德国队，他的表现值得我们尊敬与感激。他给予了国家队巨大的激励和鼓舞，是我们能够晋级八强的关键。”
