英格兰中卫斯莫林现年34岁，与罗马合同原本2025年到期。2020年，罗马花费1500万欧从曼联引进斯莫林。受伤病影响，斯莫林上赛季仅代表罗马出场12次，他曾随罗马夺得1座欧会杯冠军。
